Hey yall! Since I am pretty much not a leader of this LR anymore, let's update the name of the blog.

Leave any suggestions in the comments.

LR tonight

We had LR tonight at Daniel's house. Here are a couple of pics. Alison made the (amazing) blondies (I ate too many).

We also listened to a sermon by Tim Keller from Redeemer Presbyterian in New York, on Hebrews 11. Such a good preacher. Here's my favourite verse, in the KJV:
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
We've got another sermon of his to listen to sometime; after that, any other LR out there want to borrow the CD? Just shout out in the comments.

BABY!!!

Baby was born today! Even though baby was due over a week ago. My sister-in-law was induced this morning and ended up getting a c-section this afternoon (something about contractions changing baby’s heart rate). But she’s ok, baby is healthy and over 8 pounds.

And baby is a……

Wait for it…..

Boy! I thought it would be a girl. But boys are ok too.
His name is Finnan James Lochbihler. Hooray for baby!

Another post nonetheless

I believe this to be my first post since returning to livingroom. It was good to have one last livingroom where we were all together. I miss you tom, and I miss you beth. I hope you are both doing well. We continue to pray for you because we love you!
Sue and Dan and I went out to Smokeless Joe's this past Thursday and enjoyed a few fancy pants beers. Good times. What a blessing to have a livingroom with people who are not just the other members, but also your friends.
Since some of you guys don't get out to meetings as often as you'd like to I think you've missed out on my big-ish news lately. I got the position of Senior Editor on the Ryerson Review of Journalism. I am very excited to work on the magazine.
I guess that's it from me for now.

peace.
